Gonzalez works the incisive 1-2, getting in close, dipping and covering in the rare instance he isn't firing. Yaegashi is keeping his arms down, head lolling to either side, minimally useful in dodging punches but making that willing sacrifice and eating what he must, swinging each arm in upward arcs to land spanking body punches from Gonzalez's upper buttocks to his armpits, many slapping him around the kidneys. Gonzalez is REF DOWN!!! Caught a back-elbow. Great exchanges here. Yaegashi is exhausted and his face is a mess but he is giving it right back to Gonzalez, standing in bravely.

Steady pressure from Gonzalez as Yaegashi begins to come unraveled, stumbling away. Gonzalez slips a lazy drawbridge right hand and slashes at Yaegashi's face with short left and right hooks, knocking him physically backward on wobbly heels. Yaegashi is DOWN! He stays on his knees in the corner, and shows no signs of intent to rejoin the action.
