Him an Emanueal Steward have been a pleasure to listen to when they've been covering stuff I've had a chance to listen to from across the pond, and lately Al from over here too. So sad Emanuel is now gone which means the noises coming from cretins like Kellerman have less chance of getting drowned out. Keep it going Al
Al represents what is different about US commentary v UK. Both are insightful but Al doesn't labor the point and always a laugh is not far away. Makes the whole broadcast more fun does Mr Bernstein. More accepting that the fighters are going to get hit and doesn't dramatically drag them over the coals for any shortcomings they may have.
I like that about him too. He mentions flaws as part of his analysis and how it's going to affect the fight. It's insightful, rather than irritating. That's Jim Watt's major shortcoming - he picks one thing wrong and starts on with it.
