Al Bundy (Ed O'Neil) is a Gracie blackbelt

    I was surprised to read actor Ed O'Neil, most famous for playing Al Bundy and more recently appearing in Modern Family, is a Gracie BJJ blackbelt. Looks like he might have been awarded it in about 2007 or 2008.

    He used to compete in BJJ matches in Southern Cal according to guys at MMA.tv and is a excellent on the mat. Of course saying you got bashed by Al Bundy, Polk High's most famous football player, would be a good story.:yep

    Ed has got my respect on both counts. Wonder how many people start training BJJ in a Gracie school for every one that achieves black belt. I am guessing a very, very big number.
