So whats the problem? (no pun intended)

Wouldn't that make it a good win for Broner?

well one Khan has a fight. Two if he were to take that fight is should be after he beats up bums like Matthysse:hi: and beats a good fighter like Garcia. Khan also needs a few wins for that fight to make sense

:think Maybe. But 140 is a lil too deep to really build up any fighter right now without them being in dangerous fights. Fighting Broner, for Khan, is no more risky then a Garcia rematch, a Peterson rematch, a Matthysse fight, ect.

But I do hear what youre saying. Khans team might want Khan to have an easy fight or two before going back in with a top fighter.

Broner can beat Garcia, who is nothing special.

Luscious Lucas on the other hand, will be the Problem solver. :deal

But thats all moot, since Al Haymon will keep Broner the **** away from him at all costs.

    Al Haymon Protective Services. :hey

How many times did Marquez turn down Khan or Bradley in hopes of a Pacquiao fight :!:

    Risk vs reward :deal

Thank you. Marquez turned down some great potential fights in pursuit of a man he had, and knew he could beat. No one gives him **** for that, and rightfully so.

Why is Floyd held to this incredible standard? **** doesn't even make sense.

Lets see...fight a fighter who will cement your legacy as well as give you an enourmous paycheck.

or fight guys who wont do as much for your legacy, and will give you a fraction of the payday of the former.

Not too hard to figure out.

At least he wasn't ducking Pacquiao to fight guys like Ortreez instead.:lol:

I didn't want to believe this fight would happen. But when you think about it. With Broner being one of, if not the only true young up and comer left on HBO (I guess Thurman is another), and Showtime having the entirety of the 140lbs division under lock and key. It might be due to limited options at the moment.

    Still, it's a **** fight and I'm disappointed.

Again, risk vs Reward. What are you failing to understand here? You know Floyd only cares about money, but so does Marquez, which is why he turned down fights with guys like Khan and Bradley hoping for a Pacquiao fight for more money.

Mayweather was already making 40 million dollar paydays.

Lets put it this way. Had Floyd fought that one guy, nobody would be giving him **** after that...he could literally do anything he wanted after that without getting any **** for it.

If Marquez had NOT fought Pacquiao these last two years, and avoided those other fights still, then he would deserve to be critisized.

That's completely idiotic. Do you mean to tell me that, if Marquez had beat Khan, Bradley and then KTFO6 Pacquiao, that he wouldn't be fighter of the decade right now? :patsch

He knew he could beat Pacquiao. He always said as much. He wasn't so sure about Khan and Bradley. Yes the victory over Pacquiao added to his legacy, but more in the fact that he finally got vindication. That's different because people already thought Marquez won most of, if not all of their fights.
