    ...whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiich is why part of me thinks this is a PR stunt.

    Haymon knows Kovalev can't be in a big fight in Sep/Oct if he's fighting his mando in June or July. November makes sense, Sep/Oct not so much. If the only fight dates he's got for Stevenson are in Sep/Oct, he's forcing Kovalev to either A) pay off Mohammedi, B) lose one of the two belts, or C) keep both belts and wait until Stevenson is available again, which means Winter/Spring 2016.

    Oh yeah Haymon is cashing 37 y/o pimp OUT. He just signed Beterbiev who's the future.

    After Adonis gets blasted out by Kovalev he can still appear on a few PBC undercards.

    Did you notice the "would have to" in my post?

    It's Haymon's plan, nothing less, nothing more. Might be a bunch of BS for all we know.

    From Kovalev's perspective, maybe it becomes "do I get one big payday to finish 2015 or two smaller ones?" ...not sure how much this fight is valued at.

    This fight is on Kovalevs terms now, not pimpto bismals. If it happens it will be HBO and it better be 50/50. If Stevenson even tries a 60/40 I say Kovalev walks away and tells him to go **** himself.
    IMO Stevenson is not the champ, that title belongs to Kovalev with or without Super Trafficer
