He is trying to deflect what's real. Trying to turn the mirror and say people don't hate Haymon because he is Black it is because of his business practices of paying fighters great purses and giving exposure to unknown prospect and getting them a pay day.

It is not what I said. What I am saying is that HBO will keep puting on great cards because they have a lot of money. Since they are doing business with GBP and TR, those two companies will be fine. These arguments are based on reason and not race.

 

I'm not sure what the argument is about. This is not about being for or against haymon. the OP said specifically that haymon has top rank and golden boy on the ropes.

the facts suggest this is not true. if his business model is to run top rank and golden boy out the business. that probably won't happen as long as hbo is not funding his venture and stands opposite of him. as long as hbo is there top rank and golden boy will always be in business.

This means hbo and haymon will be in a protracted war. this is good for sport, competition creates better fights and more exposure. think wcw wwf.

however, the fact haymon is bleeding money hand over fight without making a dent into hbo's viewership, haymon's only chance is to get a tv deal.

this is why mayweather cannot retire. he is the bargaining chip for haymon for a new tv deal.

You are thinking of Zou Shiming, but Arum also aired fights by guys like Rex Tso. He's basically hired every talent in China to try and break into that market.
