I just read an article on the Scene that states that Dirrell "left" Al Haymon to join TMT Promotions. He says that Al Haymon is a very powerful figure in boxing and that he left him in good terms, to join TMT. http://www.b oxin gsc e ne.com/andre-dirrell-on-leaving-haymon-joining-tmt-promotions--56116 If this is true, then it brings us that much closer to a Pac-Floyd fight knowing that there's not another determining factor, behind 50 Cent and Bob Arum. If I remember correctly, Haymon did not have a really good standing with Bob Arum.
that makes no sense. Haymon is a manger and TMT is a promotion company. How do you leave one for another?
damn unless there's some serious brain behind TMT thsi will go the way of mayweather promotions and philty rich
yeah floyd doesnt seem very good at promoting. 50 knows the music and movie industry. but what does he know about boxing except from watching a couple fights live and 'tube?
Who cares about the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Its not a hot commodity anymore. Boxing doesn't revolve around that fight. Just get over it. If it happens, good, if not, good.
Well 50 and Arum are already having talks, so I'd figure I'd bring it up. It's really childish but Oscar/Schaefer hate Bob Arum, and vice verse. Bob Arum was also not in a good standing with Haymon. That's too many people hating each other to make a fight. With Schaefer/Oscar, and now Haymon out of the picture, 50 Cent already said he has no problem working with Arum.
