YEAH they did because GBP put there own person in charge of boxing at SHOWTIME :deal And we know how Al loves working with GBP
This guy seems to me like a scumbag in the Don King mold. I remember reading that piece on Danny Jacobs' battle with cancer. The kid is a Haymon fighter. He also doesn't have health insurance if I remember correctly. So, the guy manages this young kid, great talent and up and coming fighter, but doesn't get the kid any health insurance, remember now, he's a BOXER without insurance, and he chips in a tiny bit for the kids treatment with CANCER!! A tiny bit, while the poor kid gets most of the financial support for the battle of his life from a family friend. Yea lets celebrate another clown who exploits people for money. There isn't enough of them already.
You could be right there. I also believe no two Al Haymon fighters have ever fought each other. Haymon is all about protecting his interests in boxing. I don't know that he could make it as a promoter if he's not willing to let his fighters face each other.
Sad to hear about Lamon Brewster. I've been searching the job sites for a 'So Called Adviser' position like Heymon's, that pays huge bucks. But so far without success
