Is Al Haymon creating a national union of fighters? It seems he picks up a lot of fighters who are disillusioned with the promoter/broadcaster cabal. I don't really see his fighters complain about him ever, so they are obviously happy with what they pay him for what he does. But just looking at his fighters, with a few notable exceptions, its nearly a full house. Is this size of stable good for boxing? Could he hold the broadcasters/promotions to ransom? What's he all about?

Probably makes his life a lot more easy, not being under the spotlight.

Might even turn out the Haymon was behind Hoffa's disappearance.
Or maybe just in the sense that if the guy(s) responsible ever got caught, they would use "The Haymon made me do it" in defense.

Al's business model is to manage boxers and cut out the promoter. And cut out the promoter's take, which is typically 33% of the purse. He also gives fighter advances to live on, like a promoter does (or is it a salary?). He also keeps his stars away from tough fights of the kind a promoter would usually want to make. In exchange, he gets full control over their careers, including endorsements and appearances. His contracts used to also give him say over what promoter a fighter could sign with, but he had to remove that provision after Arum successfully sued him over it.

The results? Just look at Floyd, Peter Quillen or Danny Garcia. More money, lots of inactivity, lots of weak comp. Once in a while a decent fight as a bone to throw to the fans. When Floyd says, "I may be a coward, but I'm a rich coward," he's quoting the Gospel According to Al Haymon chapter and verse.

Some Haymon fighters have decided it's not so great without a promoter. Danny Jacobs just recently signed with Hearn, who's so far getting Danny's name out there and trying to line up fights. And Mikey Garcia was briefly shopping around for a promoter after he found out during the Broner fight that without a promoter to look after him no one was going to get him limousines and free tickets for his friends on fight night.

This. Who wouldn't want to be filthy rich without the spotlight.

Not even in his early days did he give a Interview something dodgy about AL.He has only been managed to be caught by the cameras, maximum three times, after all he's done for Boxing,it will be a shame if he dosent even give one interview before he retires
