Al Haymons PBC.... Here is what I think will happen by 2020...

    I believe that within 5 years, his league (Premiere Boxing Champions) will be in full effect, just as UFC.

    I also think his idea is to eventually within 5 years to develop their own championships, just as UFC has them as well.

    Premiere Boxing Middleweight Champ = Kid Chocolate

    Premier Boxing Welterweight Champ = Floyd Mayweather...

    Those are just examples, but this is the only reason I can see so many of his fighters ducking real challenges at the moment.

    Al Haymon know's what he is doing... he is moving away from Showtime, HBO and even the title belt agencies like WBC and others.

    why woudl you not like a league?


    I don't see what the problem is with ONE LEAGUE in boxing. Having multiple LEAGUES were something is in the initial stages is great. It offers variety and the chance to develop different types of fans.


    Boxing is SO FAR past this. I mean boxing is the only serious american sport that doesn't have a league.

    NBA took over the ABA
    NFL killed the XFL


    etc etc.... Boxing doesn't need 10 differnet promoters... having ONE ORGANIZED LEAGUE. 1 BELT per division. will be a great thing when people get over the fact that it's haymon or people don't like that it's a league.

    Bothers me how MMA fighters sacrifice so much and get paid so little. They don't even have the rights to their own name.

    One man controls the destiny of all these warriors in a monopoly. No thanks.

    give me you're reasons why this would be good for boxing?

    When Haymon ran around in the concert buisness, he ran everything.
    From the talent to the damn lighting, all were run by his companies.

    So Haymon, at one point will do more than just purchase air time.

    NBA/NFL are SINGLE leagues in a world where few countries have teams...Boxing is a GLOBAL sport...similar to soccer.

    If you're aware of the Ali Act, wouldn't it be obvious that he is also aware of it. Whatever his game plan is, I'm sure it's well thought out.

    this is no different than shows that ODLH , SRL etc... have tried. will last 1 season and will be axed and Haymon will be out 20 million.
