Yeah, it seems people get a hold of a little piece of information and run with it. Little individual thought process going on. Before passing judgment on a man you should at least watch his plan unfold. I myself don't think that he would try and be everything to a fighter. Once he gets established, he can start doing business with various promotional companies. I'm sure he has some that he wants to deal with exclusively. He can drop the advisor and just manage because it's basically the same thing. Or he could hire a general manager and advise the manager while maintaining the presidency of the company. There are a lot of angles but the bottom line to me is that I think he means well for his fighters and wants to see them be successful.

What have you seen him do negative that would make you think that, and why do you think fighters would take that big cut in pay. He is known for getting his fighters top dollar. Why stop now. There would be a major exodus from his organization resulting in complete failure and from what I can see, he don't play to lose.

I think he was saving his fighters for this very moment and good business to me. I have no sympathy for Quillin because I think that was a coward move but then again I think that was his personal choice rather than advise from Haymon. Also, that was Danny's decision and not Haymon's or Pederson's. However you got Canelo picking in the garbage for Kirkland at a catch weight no less, and Rio's beating up a meth addict. There's plenty of stank to go around and it don't began and end with Haymon. I give him big props for trying to do something different and I believe it will be a positive change for boxing. Good things come to those who wait. Give the man a chance and let it play out. You might be pleasantly surprised. You ain't hating on the man because he's black are you?

Now I can agree with the too much power part but it didn't seem to bother any one when GBP was dominating in the promotional arena. Then again, how can you claim domination when there are several large promotional outfits out there. Nobody complained about HBO when it was dominating the PPV's. By the way, Apple is not #1. It's in good company and Dana White's days are numbered. It's about competition and If Al's formula is a success, believe me, there will be clones. Just like HBO did 24/7, Showtime did 360. It's the American way, Build a better mousetrap.

Saving his fighters for this very moment to do what? Put on joke fights for Danny Garcia that are 10-rounds, catchweight so there's no title on the line? Oh yeah, sign me up for this riveting garbage.

Lol... "Long conversation" that started 19 hours ago and is a couple of pages long? How is the comment irrelevant when it strikes to the very heart of the issue and your comments?

You keep talking about things that are already in play and blaming it on Haymon. You still crucifying the man without actually seeing how it's gonna play out. I'm in awe that you think you are speaking for most sports fans but I guess you must know most of them. Haymon is changing the sport for the better and I know there is gonna be a lot of ****ed off established people but the fact is that there is a new sheriff in town and his name is Al Haymon. By the way Andy Lee is not a Haymon fighter and it takes two to make a deal. Quillin not fighting Korobov was strictly a business move against Roc Nation. Not unlike HBO and Showtime or Canelo and Oscar trying to knock Mayweather out of the May 2nd date. It's business and Al Haymon didn't start it. He's just playing it better than most and for that he is disliked. Rubbish!

    UFC fighters fight three rounds

Look like out of shape drunks who can't even throw a punch

    Boxing does not need that

If you think that One organized league will fix boxing you need your head examined. THis is why the UFC is such a farce. The fans are only exposed to people in the UFC. They can afford to pay their guys less because its Dana White's way or get lost. If all the fighters unionized and asked for more $$$, they would just replace all of them with lesser fighters. Since fans only watch UFC they would never be exposed to the greater talents, being content by competitive match ups of bums. The UFC is ****... It has a strong brand but there are so many things wrong with it. More than boxing probably.

Also the whole womens UFC circuit is a giant fix. They only sign girls that are somewhat attractive and then make sure that those girls that were attractive that they signed are always at the top. (they will sign ugly girls but they will ensure before signing them they can't beat their more attractive counter-parts.)

Fans don't realize Ronda Rousey is a farce because she only fights against people the UFC signed to be her punching bag.

Also if fighters are paid less in boxing it will drive away even more talent. We will never see another RJJ, FMJ, Pac etc. They will all play other sports because boxing will appear so ****py on paper $ wise.

That's your friends and I'm not knocking that but my friends are just the opposite. We all gather around the big screen for a PPV and especially when it's Mayweather. Plus they might not know Georges St-Pierre but they all know Bones Jones. That's neither here nor there and has no reflections on boxing. Different strokes for different folks but that don't mean boxing is dead.

I asked you a question a few posts back and you responded with a typical response but as I have been reading your posts through out this forum the real answer has made itself known.
