Bika isn't great but Oganov is absolutely awful. I don't normally refer to people as being terrible or garbage or what have you but Oganov is really one of the more talentless boxers out there. I can't think of one thing he does remotely good enough to be considered anything other than bad.
We think alike. i was shocked at how bad oganov was the first time i saw him.Talk about a padded record if you have ever seen one.
I mean Oganov's resume is just atrocious in terms of his wins. His best win is probably 19-14 Richard Grant. Consider that Zuniga (of all people) outboxed him decisively and you can see where I'm going with this.
Ok why is Oganov a respectable opponent for Dirrel, but not for Green. It just makes me laugh that Dirrell fans use his fight with Oganov as an example of why he'd destroy Froch....but when Green fights him he's useless NOt saying he's any good as Bika would give anyone a good test ask Calzaghe I think if Green fought and beat Bika he'd have credible grounds for saying he's one of the best in the division. The bottom line is Bika has fought champions Ogoanov has fought bums!!!There resume's speaks for themselves:deal Bika might not be great technically but he does what he does very well. Dirty, great stamina ,great chin and relentless. In my IMO if Green fought Bika I see him getting KTFO due to Bika's constant pressure!!!! If his promotional team made the decision for him no one can really blame Green as the fight with Bika probably means high risk low reward (IMO not the case Bika would be a GREAT scalp on Green's resume).
i remember a couple of people hyping him up before i ever saw him.he had a perfect record of 26-0 26KO's(I think he won all his amatuer bouts by KO also) when he went against Zuniga.I was expecting an absolute killer with monster power only to find a short primitive caveman who was trying to throw lead uppercuts from halfway across the ring.It was obvious right away that his record was padded. Bika has been in there with some good fighters and has won.His losses all came on points one of which was against Calzaghe in a good effort. He is tough and will hang around the duration of the fight. He has the goods to give Green a hard fight which is why he is the better opponent.
Andre Dirrell had 17 fights and was still relatively unproven at the time. Anthony Hanshaw and Victor Oganov are both good wins for an unproven prospect. Allan Green has 29 fights under his resume and has been in there with proven names.
Bika is avoided by the none elite. It is one thing Kessler not wanting to fight him (he has already battered him a bit in sparring), but another for these mediocre fighters to avoid him. Bika would beat a fighter like Froch with ease.
That is bull ****, they shoud make it tougher to pull out of fights charge a fine because they are pulling out of fights for what ever reason they want.....
