Have heard it was a tough/ very close fight with Minter being considered very lucky to get the decision.
Just saw it on youtube and am rather baffled by that view as I had Minter wining fairly clearly in a grueling fight.
Any ideas why its considered slightly contraversial?

    it wasn't even close.
the british judge gave it 15-0 to minter and i think that was the only controversy.

:rofl 15-0 is nuts! That was a hard fight.
I didn't score it, just sat down and enjoyed it, but I felt Minter was the harder and cleaner puncher of the two, whilst Vito sort of smothered his work at times.

As a mater of interest-what are peoples scores on the fight?
Didn't score it myself but I felt Minter had it in the bag by about 3-4 rounds. Not a bad match actually.

Apparently, bizzarely enough, Hunter S Thompson was terrified of Minter and believed he was being stalked by him!:rofl
I think he hid under a table when Minter walked into the same room.

i thought it was a very close fight with Minter just taking it by a point or 2 but i thought he definitly got it as his rounds were alot clearer.

I havent seen it since it happened. But I seemed to remember. I actually though Antuofermo won. Would love to see it again soon.

Roland Dakin was closest to the truth. Something like 12-3 or 13-2 for Minter is right. I have seen the tape several times. In their second fight Minter made it even easier. I am not a great Minter fan, but Antuofermo was tailormade for him.
