Anyone ever heard of this match?

I just seen it on some program on court TV.

The fight was stopped on cuts, Sullivan won, he was up on the corner turnbuckle, arms raised celebrating and the other guy MaChong ran up behind him and sucker punched him in the ribs.

Sullican was ok, but a riot broke out in the crowd and MaChong jumped in to the middle of it, gloves still on and swinging at people:patsch

They said MaChong lost his license to box but apparently he fought a few matches afterward.

    Machong

Sullivan is a ring legend in New Zealand. He fought Mundine twice and gave him hell in there first fight.

Machong was a tough as they come type of guy, he had a rep for having a take no prisoners attitude. However in this case he went a little to far!

Another riot situation here in NZ, was Gerrard Zohs VS Lightning Lupe for the NZ Middleweight Title Zohs won the fight but a riot ensured afterwards because the Samoans who were seated on the otherside of the ring than the white supporters didnt like the decsion it was Nz European VS Samoan in the ring and ended in NZ European Crowd VS Samoan Crowd afterwards

Sean had the best chin in South east asia and pacific boxing in the last 25 years, this man could take a punch like no other man i have ever seen.
