Sosnowski is hated because he lost to Vitali. All the haters want Klitschkos to lose, including Greenburg.

Sosnowski, is a reasonable HW and if some of the top European HWs werent around at this time he would he higher rated, but they are. He could get opportunities fighting and winning in America, which would lead to a suspect but high ranking, giving him opportunities away from the tough unforgiving Euro market.
Good luck to him wherever he goes

    In any era?

The Kitschkos? Only in this century - They'd probably be also-rans in most if not all other eras.

Valuev? He could draw a crowd in any century but...

The rest would be lucky to be known outside of their respective domestic scenes.

I like the fact that fans of Eastern European Boxers find great solace in the current state of Heavyweight Boxing. It reinforces my faith in the adage, "Every cloud had a silver lining."

Sosnowski is a gatekeeper in any era. Chagaev, on the other hand, is a legit talent.

A southpaw with good pop and fundamentals like Chagaev, or Ibragimov for that matter, would be difficult for anybody. He was just to small to beat a Klit.
