Drew with Hastings Rasani, thats after fighting at a very high level. Ayone know what happened? Has he slipped big time? :huh
Well Rasani is on form. Hes coming off 18 straight defeats so it was a test for Albert. No surprise here.
I don't have any inside info or anything, but the Dimentrenko defeat must have been very disappointing.
I believe he made a thread "calling" it before SKY's broadcast (but after the result was already up on Boxrec).
...from, what exactly? :huh It's ****ing Sosnowski. Didn't really deserve a shot against VK; subsequently got dominated/shut out/stopped by VK in an optional title defense. Knocked out a tomato can who now has a losing record by some distance, and somehow that vaulted him into a European title shot against Dimitrenko. The two of them proceed to put on one of the WORST displays of heavyweight boxing ever seen, with Dimitrenko looking like leprous ass and yet still the better man on the night. When the **** was Soz last fighting at "a very high level"?? :? OK, he drew with Pianeta and beat Vidoz...two years ago. Besides, it wasn't too long before that when he was shut out by Zuri Lawrence. Yeah. Shut out. By Zuri Lawrence.
Can not disagree anything you say but man losing to Dimitrenko then drawing to Rasani in the space of 7 months is some fall I know Albert is no World beater but It is amazing he only drawn with Rasani. I'll be honest I'm kind of interested in seeing the fight.
It just really isn't a surprise to me given how shitty he looked against Dimi. The Sosnowski that got knocked out by Dimitrenko (even though he was in the fight up to that point, but Dimitrenko looked HORRIBLE) would probably lose a wide decision to a Daniil Peretyatko IMO. So him drawing with a no mark like Rasani just isn't as big a shock for me as it seems to be for some people.
