An almost forgotten fighter who fought at Flyweight and is mostly known for giving Mark Johnson his toughest battles. Similar to that of another Mexican champion that goes by Raton (Daniel Zaragoza) Jimenez was also another tough crafty fighter who threw a lot of punches. Jimenez also had a terrific fight against Arthur Johnson, lost a disputed decision against Muangchai Kittikasem, and won the WBO Flyweight title against Jake Matlala. Any thoughts on this underrated Mexican Flyweight champion?
He was very good. I just looked at his record and was surprised that he only fought twice at the Forum because I thought that he was there a lot.
His fights with Mark Johnson and Arthur Johnson are both barnburners. Great Flyweight action. This content is protected This content is protected

He could hang with anybody, Carlos Salazar said he has the best technique and defense out of everyone he ever fought, including Barrera.
