Another headbutt by Marimon. Zambrano is following, leaning to his right, jabbing. Marimon keeps covered up, running, swerving his upper body side to side, springing away from the ropes, and running some more. Zambrano follows and jabs, trying a combo when he has Marimon near the ropes and getting grabbed and butted again. The referee tries to step in and clean things up.

That Solo Boxeo card is in two hours. Whether it's live or on tape delay, I'm not sure. Last week it was on delay. :conf

 

Well, it appears the main event will indeed conflict with the Televisa/TyC card. Awesome.

At least we got to see Zambrano vs. Marimon in its entirety. That was a worthwhile trade-off.

Round 8

Zambrano jabs and Marimon propels himself to the ropes, pinballing off them and then circling and ducking to make sure that he and Zambrano never come in physical contact. It's like that board game, Operation. If you view it like that Marimon is winning, pitching a near shutout. Zambrano is landing at like 5%. However, Marimon is landing at zero percent because you can't have higher than zero percent of zero punches thrown. A couple of wide hooks by Zambrano trying to pin Marimon on the ropes, fruitlessly.
