I really, really enjoyed the Pascal/Norman fight!! That shits was exciting as a good fight can be. Two very strong and conditioned fighters blasting away for the entire fight. Alcine finished in fine style but there were some lackluster points in that bout, but he was fighting an awkward fighter with high volume of punches. Go Canada.

Thanks bro! yea those were 2 good fights but i think Alcine got matched up against a guy with a horrible style. Holding and ducking the whole time.

Yeah but I agree with T.C.W. who said Mosquera was better then expected. I guess this dude is use to get fights at the last minutes or maybe only a few weeks in advance but this time he was able to train for 4 months and I guess it showed.

    WTF??:huh

Where's the out rage? Pascal was given a gift this evening Brian "Stormin Left Hook" Norman from Decatur Ga. was in the house and takin care of business. Has me wondering what the hell the judges wer watching,

HOMETOWN DECISION, and Pascal was less than impressive and was at times very 1 dimensional:good

Mosquera's preperation consists of drinking 150,000 cups of coffee minutes before the fight. :ldevil

I think some of the comments here are biased in favour of the home fighters. Despite the wins not really convincing performances by either fighter. This is the 2nd fight in a row in which Pascal fails to impress despite the win.

The Alcine fight was exciting and you have to give credit to both fighters for slugging it out. Mosquera showed up to fight and win a title not just to collect a paycheck. However, Alcine showed a lot of weaknesses and should have been able to handle Mosquera more easily and end the fight earlier. I was impressed by Alcine's heart and willingness to brawl but it wasn't a great showing of boxing skill. Mosquera won the 2nd and 3rd rounds and Alcine was in a bit of trouble in the 3rd and was a bit lucky to get under the rope which caused the ref to call a break. Alcine did win the other 10 rounds but only a few of the rounds were dominant Alcine performances. In most of the rounds Alcine would land 30 good punches but get hit by 20 or 25 good punches. He had the edge to win the round but it wasn't the dominating victory that 10 rounds to 2 would imply. Mosquera was probably Alcine's toughest fight to date, Sims never really threatened Alcine while Mosquera was a threat to win if he could put a few good combinations together until the last few rounds in which he had punched himself out. You can't give Alcine that much credit for the knockout because by the 12th round Mosquera was so punched out he was ready to drop on his own. Thought it was very poor reffing to let Mosquera continue after the second knockdown. Even though the ref stopped the fight immediately after it started again, by the second knockdown it was apparent Mosquera had stopped fighting. It could have been dangerous had Alcine landed a strong punch.

Seriously? Pascal sucked ass vs Norman tonight. it aint funny, any thoughts of Pascal's progression have to be sca;ed back off that fight. Not that Norman wasnt live more so than Pascal aint ready for primetime.

This fight begged to be won with a right hand OFF the hook but neithere could manage to deliver:nono

I also though Mosquera was better than expected. But I thought that after round 3 it was pretty much all Alcine, with Mosquera holding quite a bit. Overall, the card was good, and I was happy with Alcines performance.

I was a little disappointed in Pascal, but Im not sure his right hand is fully recovered. too much relying on the left hook and not busy enough for stretches. Showed his explosiveness a few times and I had him winning the fight 7 rounds to 3.

I know what you're saying but there was no hometown decision tonight. Though unimpressively, Pascal won the decision.

Norman was sticking him and landing cleaner and moer effectively.

I'm begging for someone to explain how Pascal won:scaredas:

    HOW??

He got a lesson in left hooks from norman, if Norman had a right? He'd have KO'd Pascal. Dude got routinely clocked cleanly with the left and managed few dominating right hands.

Pascal had better improve quite a bit, that version isnt going far at all at 168:nono

**** i dont like Bute much but Bute would PUREE his ass:good

He didn't throw the right hand much and when he did, it wasn't his ususal way. Something's up with his shoulder.

 How could you score that fight for Norman? I doubt that you actually did. Pascal wasnt that impressive tonight, but there is no doubt he won the fight.

Did you not see the left hand control Norman employed? Pascal was ****ing getting clocked with the left repeatedly, he did ****!!!

I definitely had Norman ahead and if I see this Pasdcal 1 mo time? I'mm make money betting against this cat. I never saw him look like this before, but I'm starting to think competition has something to do with it.
