Alcohol soaking?

I've read some boxers soak their hands in alcohol everyday to develop callouses. anyone do this? experiences?

Personally I like to bang my head against a wall to toughen it up.

 

I soak my innards in alcohol erryday to toughen me up for body shots.

Petrol...reckon i'll pass..has anyone tried that? I know the Mauler said he put camphor ice on his hands and also soaked em in a pickling solution

 

Really? I wonder how thick you gotta get it.
I just find that dry hands tend to crack easily and bleed, so moisturizer for me.

Yeah ive heard that too..ive been doin it for a few days. So far no issues. Once a day 20 mins each hand and also after boxing practice

So far I'm not having any issues. Yeah my knuckles are dry and rough but thats the point of this. No cracking or anything and the palms of my hands are unchanged. The skin around my fingernails is hardening and tightening around them. The tops of my hands are the similar to my knuckles. Hands are of course fully functional and no symptoms of anything. So far so good. I have been doin it everyother day for about 20 mins a day.

 

The Soakings are goin pretty well. The skin on my knuckles is pretty dry and rough (which again is the point). After I shower or get them wet they are fairly soft but once they are dry back to the roughness. Still no issues and palms are still normal. Not dried out. Drinkin plenty of fluids.

 

lol, i'm interested in hearing more in a couple of weeks time. Post some pics perhaps.
I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing if they start to look like the hands of a corpse.

BTW - chicks hate rough hands. I hope you're either in a long term relationship, or not planning on touching tits for a while.

 

Lol My girl loves a manly man. She likes things..rough. And the bottoms (palm side) hasnt changed at all. And I make sure to submerge my hands fully. There is no VISUAL change to my hands.
