Hatton had problems with food, drink and drugs.
I hope he's kicked at least one of the problems into touch

Jeff Harding was a chronic alcoholic for a long time. Banned from half the pubs in Sydney and got himself into countless pub brawls and trouble. Last I read he’d turned it around but I’m not sure how he is now.

Hector Camacho had drug problems and also alcohol issues. I think Edwin Rosario also had problems with the bottle in addition to drugs.

No I did not, tell me. I remember reading about when Machen fought Floyd Patterson on July 5 1964, from a newspaper column, Floyd said he had Eddie in serious trouble nut backed off because Machen had spent time in a Mental Health Institution. Floyd went on to win by 12 round unanimous decision.

Julio Sr was partying particularly hard post-Taylor and through his King years. And booze wasn't the only thing going on.
