Khabib stated that he doesn't bully the little. That being said, him vs Aldo is a good fight. Sure he has four inches on Aldo, but Aldo won't be cutting as much weight. His gas tank, and power should be improved. I think it's a quality match up. I'd like to see it. Hopefully Khabib thinks it over and goes for it. In my opinion Aldo is better than Eddie Alvarez, and Dos Anjos.
Its a great fight for Khabib and a way to prove that he is the real deal and possibly set up a McGregor match, if Dana is not in the protection service now.
It would be a very very interesting fight. Khabib is miles bigger than Aldo but Aldo has the best take down defense in the history of mma imo. There is no way Khabib can live with Aldo on the feet. Would Khabib be able to take Aldo down consistently in a 5 rd fight ?
Khabib isn't very good at standing imo, but his wrestling and GNP is top notch. If he can get Aldo on the Ground and control it there he can possibly get a GNP stoppage. But that's easier said then done as Aldo has some of the best takedown Defense I've seen on a fighter since Chuck liddell. And of course if Khabib can't get him down, he most likely gets frustrated and stopped, those Aldo leg kicks are BRUTAL!!
I agree with you and Akbar1...If the Tony Ferguson can't get made, I'd like to see Khabib v Aldo definitely. Like you said, Aldo's take defense is crazy...and don't forget the leg kicks. I'd pick Khabib in the fight for obvious reasons...but you can't discount Aldo here imo. ps...awesome avatar!!! Dortmund!!!!
Khabib's dad rejected Aldo as an opponent. If Aldo isn't cutting weight, he will be around the same size as Khabib in the ring, just three or four inches shorter. People forget that Aldo supposedly has top notch Brazilian Juijitsu also. We never see it in the ring because he is a striker, so he won't be totally out of water if Khabib is able to take him down. Mind boggling to me why they won't fight Aldo. As I stated previously. An Aldo that isn't cutting that weight to get to 145, is better than Alvarez, and Dos Anjos. I wouldn't mind seeing Ferguson vs Aldo, if Ferguson will take that fight. Aldo is daring to be great. I like that in him.
Fergusson doesn't want the match because he knows it's a bad style match up for him. Khabib slaughters Aldo.
Aldo a much better match for ferg And Ferg a much better match for Aldo the khabib for either. Nobody at 155 wants any part of khabib. He takes down Luke rockhold when rock walks at 225-230 and holds him there at time. Aldo and ferg ain't doin s h I t to khabib
