Aldo vs Florian in october

I don't know. Aldo is gonna **** up his leg and he can punch a bit too. Florian conditioning looked quite good vs nunes. Might be something there for him.

 

I think his best chance is the true greg jackson approach. boxing to compliment the sleep inducing grappling

Florian still needs to be careful he doesn't eat a knee or punch on the way down. Hominick was so tough he made Aldo look slightly ordinary but Aldo is still a devastating and dynamic fighter who innovates and will do things his sparring partners might not help him prepare for.

 

Florian will lose and lose badly to Aldo , he had a better chance against Penn IMHO

 

I wouldnt expect Florian to submit or control Aldo on the ground , Aldo is a Nova Uniao BB and was a rising star in the BJJ world before turning to MMA , Florian has an excellent ground game and is a legit black belt but he's not schooled like Aldo is .

Because Aldo was basically engaging Hominick as and how he wanted to rounds 1 - 4 and was in complete control of the fight , he claims to have been sick in the build up to the Hominick fight and to be fair it would make sense looking at his lackluster display off his back in round 5 .

Additionally Hominick is a world class FW and rightfully is ranked top 5 in the world .

 

Aldo is going to destroy Florian.

Florian has zero chance standing, and I just can't see him controlling Aldo on the ground, certainly not for 5 rounds.

I hope Florian comes in live and really takes it to Aldo. Should be an amazing fight.

I think Florian's only advantage is he's displayed a little more when in the clinch than Aldo. Florian is the underdog sure, but dont count him out. One of those elbows could be fight changing
