Seeing as Hominick didn't appear to have suffered any damage tonight, it looks like this fight will be happening at UFC 129.

How do you guys see it going down?

I like Hominick alot really loving watch him strike he is so darn technical and overall he is a well rounded fighter I think hes as tough a matchup as Jose Aldo has ever had. That said I think Aldo is just flat better every where on the ground and standing I think the leg kicks are what give him the advantage. Aldo 3rd round TKO.

Hominick takes this if it stays on their feet. His boxing is tremendous to go with his tactical mind. His ground and all around skills isnt too shabby either.

Hominick's countering ability is virtually unmatched in MMA. He likes to play to his opponents aggression, and that has worked well for him in the past, but the type of aggression that Aldo will be bringing is unlike anything he has faced yet. Aldo has astonishing power for a featherweight.

On the flipside, Aldo has never faced a striker as technically sound as Hominick thus far in his career. He has had a big striking advantage against all of his opponents, and for the first time, he is going to be fighting someone who will actually make him pay for any mistakes he makes.

I don't really think that the ground game has to be considered too much when looking at this fight, but by all accounts, Aldo has the advantage in that area. Hominick's ground game has improved leaps and bounds, mind you.

That said, I think that the power in Aldo's leg kicks are going to be the difference, and he will win by TKO sometime later in the fight.

I'll take Hominick by 2nd round ref stoppage. I think he'll catch him and make him pay

Seems to be a mix of answers here. Hopefully the fight plays out that way cant wait this is a rare time you can honestly say 2 elite MMA strikers are battling it out.

    Hominick takes a decision.
He can hold his own on the ground, and has better hands. But Aldo could beat him if he cripple him early like he did to faber

Mike Brown was really overrated after all haha

No he wasnt cleary Brown isnt the same fighter he was before the Aldo fight. Beating Mark Hominick, Yves Edwards, Leonard Garcia, Jeff Curran and Urijah Faber 2x didnt happen by accident. Dont know whats wrong with the guy maybe he simply needs a rest this guy fights alot and he is always training. Brown came to Baltimore in early November for a show and he trained at my gym you think he would take it easy but he shows up with Garcia and Cerrone and they trained for 2 hours.
