Interesting matchup and it isn't a mismatch like Andrade-Miranda. I would favor Berrio because of his superior boxing skill and power, but it's definitely a winnable fight for Miranda because of Berrio's weak chin. It's not out of the question for either of them to get starched early. Berrio's chin is worse, but he has great 1 punch power and if he connects flush on Miranda (which shouldn't be difficult to do), he could hurt him badly as well.

Every B level fighter at SMW has superior boxing skills than Miranda, some C levels too. I'm not saying Berrio is anything special skills-wise or the difference between their skill levels are huge, I just think Berrio is slightly better and has much more power.

Yeah, thinking about it again, I don't even think I would favor Berrio. Miranda would probably be able to take some of his big shots for the first few rounds and land something big himself without too much trouble, taking Berrio out. Maybe I would even favor Miranda. It truly is 50/50.

 

Berrio was a SMW Champ. How many times has Miranda held a belt???? Oh snap...he hasn't.

Berrio also has more proven KO power at SMW. 27 wins (26KO).

As for chin...I remember Pavlik stopping him and look forward to Abraham doing the same. Green put him on his ass too.

Just because I heavily favor Andrade to destroy Miranda (an obvious pick) and think Berrio could possibly starch Miranda in a pick'em matchup doesn't mean I'm not a fan. I'm just being realistic about his abilities at 168. Berrio has more power, without a doubt.

 

How is it realistic that Berrio has MUCH MORE POWER?
They have fought the same opponents and Miranda has stopped them earlier then Berrio has. Hell, Sam Miller has stopped opponents earlier then Berrio has. I know you defend Miranda at times, but I just think in this case your reasons dont hold water.
