My guess is "Gweh-phee", slight emphasis on the latter syllable.

According to Boxrec he's from France, whether that's actually a French name I don't know.

The name isn't French, of North African and Islamic origin. :good

    His official nationality's French, though.

Yeah, something close to Spanish is what I'm thinking. In Spanish it'd be Gwer-phee

    Round 3

Gonzalez is sticking with the jab and not showing a plan B as Guerfi starts timing it while turning Gonzalez and laying siege with combos off the jab. Guerfi is chopping his way in and thrusting hard straights up at the head, missing when Gonzalez bends his neck but staying persistent and getting at least a piece of him with every salvo. Gonzalez's jabs sailing past Guerfi's head or skimming his cheeks or the backs of his gloves.

    10-9 Guerfi

    29-27 Gonzalez

Gonzalez doesn't look great after a pretty good opener.

    Round 4

Gonzalez is backhanding the jab, more a dismissive gesture than a properly snapped punch. Guerfi is taking advantage of Gonzalez's increasingly ****less jab, stepping past it and working combinations, headhunting, up on his toes and constantly moving to set himself to punch, forcing the pace.

    10-9 Guerfi

    38-37 Gonzalez
