Alejandro Rochin history of bad calls

I very rarely post on this forum but read messages a lot, and admit that I am not the best judge of a fight and my own bias gets in the way, but I was so annoyed by the Fury Wilder outcome I decided to do look up some of Rochin's previous fights from boxrec.

I know this is not enough evidence but the more I read the more frustrated I became. I started to look at the SD results Rochin had been involved in. Worryingly almost every time he judged a SD result, he almost always disagrees with the other two judges. Almost every time he judges in favour of the fighter who has a far superior record, going against the other two judges scorecards.

The next step would be to try and find footage of these fights and score them myself, but think I may only get more frustrated at what I may find.

This got me thinking how can this be fixed. Im not saying Rochin is corrupt but it may be that he is just very bad at judging a fight. If this is the case, the only way to fix something like this is some governing body reviewing judges and grading their performance, this could result in some of them not being able to fight in the future.

I weird comparison but I am a teacher and mark exam scripts. There is room for interpretation in exam marking but every 5 papers I mark are double marked by someone else. If I get x amount of papers outside a margin of error I am no longer allowed to mark that question until I have had training, worse case scenario if I dont improve I get fired from marking.

Nothing like this happens in boxing but something needs to change, unfortunately there is to much money in it for this to happen.
