Aleks Emelianenko Negative Of Hepatitis

He must have that same disappearing AIDS syndrome that Tommy Morrison had. Instead now its Hep C.

 

I thought hep was one of those, where if you have had it and been cured, you still show positive makers on tests.

Also, that strain from Russian Prisons is a super strain, literally a home grown bio weapons grade version of Hep.. Its a result of them giving inmates partial treatments, then not having the money to continue treatments which made the particular strain highly resistant.

 

Well, here is hoping he is really clean.

I want to see him fight in big shows again; I don't want to see him fight if he actually does have a dangerous and contagious disease though.

 

Yeah, a good friend of mine in the Marines, was adopted as a child from Korea. He had Hep as a child, and I remember seeing in his med record that he had positive markers for hep, which is why I wonder if Aleks ever had hep at all.

Or, if this is some other test that just shows that he is cured, is that why there is a 1 in one of the columns?

Or, if it is some bogus test?

I agree. I want to see Aleks fight again.

 

Well the 1 is in a category where under 5 is considered negative.

I certainly wouldnt take it as 100% confirmation that he doesnt have it but then again the rumours that he did have it didnt seem to be based on much more than guesswork.

 

IMO the problem is his serious criminal record.
