Aleksander Emelianenko states what should be completely obvious to most followers of the sport:
“You can deal with UFC, I know that they have flexible contract system. All these talks about “strict” contract terms with signing with UFC, come ONLY from Vadim Finkelstein, who wants to push his owns business projects through Fedor’s fights”
So Fedor’s own brother is pointing out that Vadim Finkelstein is the guy keeping Fedor out of the UFC. Vadim wants to promote M-1 and is attempting to use both Fedor and the UFC to further his own business interests.
I’m pretty sure it’s not going to work, though.

The guy has, or at least had the same manager. He works out with Golden Glory which is hardly sparkly white.

He went to Russian prison and got Russian prison tattoos; many Russian prison tattoos have nazi imagery. Doesn't necessarily mean he is a nazi; he could be, but all signs point to him not being one.

even if he were an anitsemite, his bro would know the situation better than you or I (being fedor's brother and having dealt with the UFC).

what he says makes sense, though fedor too probably has his own agenda (maybe compatible with finkelstein) which has made the negotiations tough when you consider the ufc is looking for the upper hand at all times

Why cant people just get over the fact that Fedor wants certain terms met before he signs for the UFC. Contract disputes happen all the time.

Fedor doesn't need the UFC he has no reason to join them.

No reason at all? That is a stretch to say the least.

It is the highest profile organization on the planet, it provides him the best opportunity to have regular, high profile, meaningful fights against the top competitors available.

There may be things he doesn't like, but to imply that he has nothing to gain over having shows canceled, not having a consistent stream of real opponents guaranteed to him, and fighting in shows that may or may not exist the day after or even the day of his fight, is a bit off the mark.

Fedor has earned the right to have HIS demands met, I don't see why people disagree with it. Fedor has earned the respect of the MMA world and if he wants to do Sambo or wants to leave an organization as the champion then he should be able to do whatever he likes. The UFC will NOT make or break Fedor. The UFC should bend and give him his demands.

Neither one needs the other, both would benefit from each other.

Yes but the UFC would I think benefit much more if Fedor fights with them. Do you know how big of a PPV event that would be?!!!! Holy cow the UFC would make enough money to by any third world country they choose!

It would probably be around the same as UFC 100. What #'s did Fedor's last PPV do?

What did the lasts UFC's do?

Feodr stillisn't a big name in North America, Affliction lost a ton of money with Fedor on their roster and he isn't a huge draw here yet.

The sambo is no longer the prob and the money offered is not either, it's Finkel trying to get controll of any event Fedor is in and use it to promote his M1 business. For Alex to even say this means something.
