Round 3

René is starting to score obliquely with a right hook against the far side of Begić's neck and upper throat with a soft right hook off a fake-out jab, but the right hand on the body from Begić is landing with more authority, driving René back a few involuntary steps. René standing in front of Begić a little more, and slightly increasing his volume, but still very little being thrown both ways and practically nothing landing.

Round 4

René is ducking and rising in front of Begić, waving down at his left jab before it even departs the hangar with a basting-brush motion with his right glove. Begić is carrying both hands down by his knees as he advances menacingly, looming over René as he rushes up to him and then bends down and hurls in a right hand into the midsection. René keeping up a high guard and scissoring his legs away, discouraging any headhunting from Begić. A few left uppercuts and overhands from René lurching out from the corner, but none get through cleanly and René is himself brushed with a right hand up top.

So far not thrilled I tuned in for this. Hoping there's a scintillating KO at some point (in either direction) to make it worth my while.

René is circling to his right and burying right jabs into the forearms of Begić, then pounding into his stomach with a heavy left hand, mostly thudding loudly against Begić's elbows, sometimes getting a bit of his waistband. Begić is now showing different looks, instead of wading in head-on stopping and veering laterally to get different angles on René, and even switching to southpaw to right-jab his way inside. Orthodox again, Begić clips René with a couple of hooks and then plants a right on his forehead as he ducks against the ropes.

Round 6

René is starting to look warier of Begić's power, having tasted some quasi-flush stuff in the fifth. Begić is plowing in aggressively with the right hand, doubling up on it, catching René on the chin and pate, driving him back hurriedly. The crowd is getting on Begić's side now, thirsty for blood. Begić stretches his upper half in quickly with a right hand on the body and pulls out in time not to get countered by René's jab. The crowd is SCREAMING every time Begić does anything now. René lands a 1-2 against Begić's chest and Begić answers with a powerful fracking right into the gut. Left hand lead downstairs by René from outside; right hand lead downstairs by Begić from outside. Your turn, my turn.

Round 7

René is getting rocked by the left jab of Begić now, even when blocking it. René's legs don't seem right. Maybe a pulled hamstring or something? Throwing even less than he did in the first half, but when he does he isn't fully committing, seems to pain him to plant his feet to extend his arms with force. Begić pounces on him, loosing a left and right in midair, clapping them into René's guard and driving him on the backfoot. A couple of light right jabs on the chest by René setting up a macing overhand left, but a quick slide in reverse sees Begić clear of it. Wild left hook from Begić, ducked as René pivots around him, turning & countering with a light right hook up top.

10-9 Begić, another semi-close one like the fifth; I suppose you could have it 5-2 Begić at this point if you're looking hard for sympathy rounds for René.
