As Babic says himself in that video, and as Serge's PhD in Chin Science lead him to believe, his chin is forged out of iron and he has never been down or hurt in 100 amateur fights or in sparring. Babic 214 - Molina 257 Molina can crack and he caught Savage with some absolutely perfect flush right hands that would've leveled an elephant These aren't KD shots they're KO shots, and KO shots against fighters your own size, let alone against someone 45lbs lighter than you. Babic barely even blinked Timestamped This content is protected Not just once but twice in a row This content is protected Another perfect right hand flush on the chin This content is protected And another This content is protected And another This content is protected He has an incredible chin
Wilder by ko. I really don't know wtf ppl are saying babic being stylistically bad for wilder. Babic gets hit and isn't 7 feet tall so no he's not a "nightmare" for wilder. People on here are acting like the lesson from the fury fights was wilder can't beat a come forward fighter. Almost all his opposition were come forward fighters who got hit. The lesson from the fury fights is he can't beat an evasive master boxer who is 7 feet tall and 280 lbs. But he can come relatively close 2 out of 3 times. I like babic I hope he gets in some good match ups but Wilder is not an easy night for him imo.
I doubt he could get brain damage if he walked into the path of a wrecking ball everyday with a noggin like that
Very well. Mavrovic had been coming in about 220-223-ish for the previous few years, but he came in at 214 and took everything the much bigger man could throw at him all night. Granite chin.
OK, mpst though Wiler lost the first fight, although he came within a hair of winning it. I had not heard that Wilder should have lost the Nichols fight!
Serge has lost his marbles everybody. As soon as Babic fights big Johnny Fisher or Sexy Steve Robinson, he's getting knocked out by real Brit warriors.
Hearn suggested the shot to bits ghost of Arthur Szpilka as Babic's next potential opponent in December. Babic is a Matchroom creation, yet even the head of Matchroom thinks that Babic is utter sh*t and recycles guys who got KO'd half a decade and half a dozen KO losses ago by Wilder.
Babic is Kownacki with better wrestling skills and more heart if Kownacki was 3 stone lighter. He has a relentless pressure style so he will get bums and shot fighters out of there fast but as soon as he fights a big lump who can punch or a slick boxer with sharp counters he's going to take a bad beating. Fury turned pro at 20 Wilder turned pro at 23 AJ turned pro at 24 Babic turned pro at 28.5 "At the same stages of their careers" lmfao The shot to bits ghost of Eric Molina isn't as good as big bad John or even Alvaro Morales (Wilder's 10th victim who beat Cojanu, drew with Charles Martin, fought a litany of well-known "contenders" and finished his 27 pro fight career with only 2 stoppage defeats, one of them to Wilder). Hearn suggested that Babic's next opponent in December may be the shot to bits ghost of Athur Szpilka ffs and soon after they'll feed him a punch drunk slurring Dave Allen. If they're confident they have a prospect then they should throw him in with shopworn Chisora.
How is he a fraud. He fights who he can. He's only had 8 professional fights ffs, how good can you expect his opponents to be? He's an entertainer.
If they're feeling really dangerous they might just throw Babic in with the wild animal known as Joseph Parker: incredible aggression, tenacity and punching power, gave "big Razvan" Cojanu the business a few years back.
