From a monetary standpoint, he does do what is best for his boxer. . . As we all well know, this goal is not compatible with what is best for us hardcore fans. . .

THe pac/floyd fight is one of those rare scenarios where hte most profitable fight, is also the most desired fight. . .

But Arum ain't gonna let Pac do something stupid like take 40 million, with NO PPV upside. . . He'll likely make around 30 million after all PPV revenue is calculated against Bradley. . . And if he loses to FLoyd, which could very well happen, then he loses marketability. . . Pac deserves to profit off the PPV upside in which he will be JUST AS responsible for generating. He won't be bullied by FLoyd.

Well he is saying Manny definitely wants the fight. Roach has said he wants the fight. So Bob just needs to kick-the-bucket.....

But does Floyd really want the fight? to make such a ridiculously lowball offer says he does not. . .

He's not even talking about 60/40. . He's talking about paying Manny up front, and then reaping ALL the benefits from the PPV? yeah, he could end up not making much more, but the chances this PPV doesn't meet, or exceed expectations is a very calculated, and low risk type scenario. . .

Floyd has renegged on his 50/50 deal, ebcause he found out he could make good money fighting easier opponents? WHen any other boxer does that, and uses money as the excuse, like Chavez, he's called a coward, and a ducker, etc.

No big deal. Ariza is no boxing expert and has an agenda with Koncz being his mortal enemy, a guy reportedly close to Arum.

Though some of what he says is true, Arum has preferred inhouse fights lately, after the war with GBP, and with Pacquiao's fights after that court order giving GBP a slice of the money from Pac's fights and authority to do the accounting on them should it not be against a TR fighter. If people have been too busy hating to notice, other promoters have followed suit and tended to prefer inhouse fights in recent times aswell.

Why isn't Ariza talking to Pac, he's the one that turned down Floyd's offer of $40M and no PPV and is on camera laughing it off for the paltry offer it was. Easy to jump on the "Arum is the devil responsible for all evil" bandwagon and forget this

And he doesn't mention the fact Floyd also doesn't fight Top Rank fighters and won't put aside his hateful feelings towards Arum to get the fight done, recently saying on HBO Pacquiao had to leave Arum for the fight to happen (Pac will be easier to rip off that way)

How is Arum doing what is best for Manny monetary wise, by giving him payday advances with interests, having Koncz on his payroll, and keeping Manny away from his biggest fights?

Yes, Ariza's hatred, and agenda against TR is the only reason he's doing all this. . . But he doesn't realize it's undermining Pac in the process. . He needs to STFU, and DO HIS DAMN JOB. . Which is to be a strength and conditioning coach. . . He is NOT a financial advisor, manager, or anything close to it. . I doubt if he knows anymore than we do. . He's just talking out his ass to serve his agenda agaisnt Arum. .

That's probably one of the reasons Chavez left him. . Chavez doesn't want him to start trying to pop off at the mouth about his **** that he knows nothing about.

You have no idea what kind of advances he has, or has not given Manny. You also have no idea how their deal works out. . .

Because being offered 40 million dollars, with no PPV upside, when you are a superstar doing million plus PPV shows, is a raw deal. . . It would be STUPID to take a 40 million dollar flat fee, with no PPV upside. . .
