Except De La Hoya left him in 2000 and continued having Arum promote his fights till 2004, which Arum had no problem with. De La Hoya was the one who stopped working with Top Rank after the Hopkins fight, after Arum echoed what many fans were saying at the time that Oscar took a dive and made Hopkins a business partner (those comments also partly due to Hopkins being with Top Rank at the time).

Arum also soon after had no problem making Pacquiao-De La Hoya, a fight Pacquiao was expected to get destroyed in and this was after the GBP lawsuit which allowed them to steal money from Pacquiao's fights. That goes against everything you claim, but of course on ESB opinions matter more than fact when it comes to Mayweather-related issues.

Fact is both Arum and Mayweather are scumbags and liars, and it goes without saying two of the greediest ****s around. I just go on what I see, as they say on ESPN First Take, on "The Eye Test" (I also don't remember many fighters having issues with money with TR -DLH, Mayweather two proven greed mongers with ambition to promote themselves, Soto with their Mexican subsiduary, who else?). I don't deny Floyd wanted his biggest payday, Top Rank were not willing to put up the numbers he requested and they parted ways, and it wasn't even that acrimonious at the time, Floyd wasn't that big of a star. The hate only really started when Arum went around claiming Mayweather ducked Margarito and Floyd greatly resented that and their relationship soured badly.

Ariza is a nobody basically, a conditioning/strength co-trainer that clearly went overboard since Khan took on Zab Judah. In my opinion, Ariza is as sure as forgotten already.

When you consider it was Pacquiao who turned down Floyd's offer, not Arum, Ariza's statement is of little relevance. It was also Pacquiao who did not like the blood testing (if you remember fight was just about signed before that issue came up), which Arum didn't make up as 5 years before Pacquiao had that issue vs Morales. Just Ariza hating on a guy he hates. Floyd's fans are using this as some sort of proof the fault is all on Arum for the fight not happening to hide Floyd's fault in all this and all the obstacles he's come up with, that's not right.

He felt left out. Everyone else in Pac and May's camp run off their mouths like complete morons so he felt he had to also. Let's not forget this is the guy that said ab work doesn't help punch resistance to the body. :patsch

Not long ago the 'Floyd side' was accusing Ariza of being a slime bag pumping Manny full of "roid" shakes. Now his word is gold because he said something they want to hear? This stuff is too funny.

What does one have to do with the other? Ariza is a loud mouthed, PED dispensing clown but he also happens to be right on this one.

I disagree with half of the bull**** you spew on here but also find your opinion interesting in other threads. You're also a Pavlik fan so keep your guard high.

Ariza is a self serving clown that is making the most of people suddenly shoving a mic in his face. The man was treated like the devil by the very people willing to believe every word he says because NOW it is what they want to hear. If he is dishonest then you have to take everything he says with a grain of salt. Is he being any different than Arum or Oscar telling people what they want to hear so he'll be more popular and possibly pick up more clients? Maybe he just sees the handwriting on the wall and is looking to jump ship. Chavez already got rid of him. Not sure about Kahn.

Doesn't matter what boxer you follow, some contingent of axeholes are going to be on your axe 'just cuz'. Pavlik fscked up and basically admitted it. Even if he comes back and clears out the SMW division you will have people crapping on him for not fighting LMW and Cruisers. When he was MW people were bitching that he wasn't fighting Calzaghe, Kesser, Bute......... Some even Dawson.
