It's unreal, Ariza's opinion of himself. It's hilarious, but there seems a sense of tragedy or pathetic delusion attached to it as well.

The guy has like a Conte Complex. He thinks he's a Master Of The Universe, when in reality he's a conditioning coach.

Ariza may not be right all the time, but he is candid and seems to care about Pac's best interest. Arum obviously doesn't. No surprise that Ariza, as outspoken as he is, would point out the obviousness of Arum's agenda.

I don't see all this somehow helping the fight happen. Pac is with Arum and he won't let him go away like that...

    My gosh no.

The most hilarious thing in all of this posturing and intrigue is that it's Arum who actually has Pac's best interest in mind.

That's the most ironic part of all of this.

Ariza is, in my opinion, a nobody, nothing.

    I think he's a gravy-trainer who won the lottery.

For goodness sakes, Arum was freaking ROACH'S promoter. He's been doing this for about as long as Ariza has been alive.

It's great to do the whole David-vs-Goliath routine and try to be a hero or whatever you think you are, but you sure as heck better know what Goliath to pick on and what Goliath to stay away from.

I'm not sure Ariza understands that. But I think he may find out, the hard way.

He's a little self-important. Just never seems to be a good look when it's the conditioner talking ****. I don't mind too much in this case as Arum deserves it, but Ariz's a bit of a big head.

If The Rock from wrestling met Ariza, the first thing Rock would say to Ariza is this:

    "Know your role, Jabroni."

Ariza doesn't seem to understand he is a bit player here. And that's unfortunate.

    For Ariza. :lol::patsch

    Cosign.
Arum learned his lessons from letting De La Hoya and Mayweather go. He let all that money go in his eyes.

    That is correct.

Think of any other conditioning coach -- anyone, in any sport -- who has ever tried to assert themselves like Ariza.

    I can't think of any.

It's embarrassing to witness, I feel. So out-of-line for what Ariza's role is, which is that of a minor piece.

That entire interview is ****ing hilarious. Ariza's sense of self importance is way out of whack, but then again, most of what he said about Arum is true. That "buzzard beak ass" bit, just great. I get the impression Manny is closer to Ariza than he is to Arum, so I doubt he'll get the sack over these comments. Pacquiao could do himself a favour by lawing down the law a bit with old uncle Bob.

You must not read some of the nonsense that Conte spews. If he had a fighter anywhere near as popular as Pacquiao you'd be hearing from him just as frequently.

Ariza like him or hate him, what he said is actually true. Arum is clearly a greedy pic. And im laughing at dumba$$ Pacquiao fans for now hating on Ariza cause he finally speaks the truth about Arum. Ariza said he, roach wants pac to fight floyd next and he said Arum is the one all along never really wanted pac to fight floyd. And *******s ariza is lying by saying arum would rather put pac in the ring with arum fighters? It makes sense to me since for the last 5 fights pac has face with the fighters that is with the same promoter.

He did speak the truth but maybe to the point of career suicide- and his self-perception of his role in Pacquiao's successes is inflated...
