To repeat: Ariza is not a promoter, he is a conditioning coach who may or may not be doing his job well currently, based upon Pac's having issues with cramps in his last two fights.

Ariza needs to, in my opinion, stick with what he does, and figure out why Pac is having cramps and fix that matter.

And Ariza needs to, I think, stay out of any other areas of Pacquiao's business, areas which he would seem to be unqualified to address. He is a conditioning coach, not a trainer, not a manager, not a promoter. He needs to understand what his role is, and stick to that.

World gets a better place when people dare to have opinions.

Speak up, Ariza. The whole ESB is listening. :happy

    Snakepit sounds more suitable.

With them and Floyd "My health comes first" Mayweather this fight will never go down.

You have to have a credible opinion to make what you say worthwhile.

For example, my five-year-old nephew may have an opinion on the theory of relativity, but that doesn't mean that I would learn much from listening to it.

Ariza is a conditioning coach. Not a promoter, not an accountant, not a manager, not a lawyer. So, if he's talking to me about how to train, I may listen to that.

If he's talking to me about what Pacquiao needs from a matchmaking standpoint, I am far less interested. It is white noise.

As I've said before: As someone who wants to see Pacquiao perform well, I want Ariza to come out and say what he has done after JMM III regarding Pacquiao's cramping issue the last two fights. This is Ariza's department, as promoting and making Pac's fights is Arum's department.

For now, Ariza looks like someone who has delusions of grandeur. As a Pacquiao fan, I think that's not good. For Pacquiao.

I think you are confused about the dynamics of how these are made in boxing.

Contrary to popular belief - Roach, Arum, Koncz and even Pac, has very little to say when making matchups.

Roach and Koncz are actually just asked for their opinion. They have no power over Arum.

Most boxers dont have actual say. Well they do, but you rarely go against the wisdom of your promoter (no matter what you think Arum IS THE SMARTEST MAN in boxing - and it is not even close) - who can make your career a hellhole if you don't fall in line.

Second, I think you often confuse opinions with actual facts.

Third, you also assume everyone in the team are informed of every contract negotiations and details. Most are not. Most are asked for opinions of certain factors, but that may or may have nothing to do what is actually proposed in the contract.

This is true for 99% of boxers out there. Few exception was ODLH, the Klits, PBF, etc.

LT:DR - roach/koncz has no power. Pac is not slick enough to understand the dealings. And Ariza is about as important in contract negotiations as **** drinking in boxing.

If Floyd Snr came out and said Al Haymon or Sam Watson dont want the fight then all the *******s would be out on force saying blaming team mayweather and there would be no defence and this would be taken as gospel.

However when we Ariza (super close with Manny) come out and say Arum ans Koncz dont want the fight we see the *******s silent. If this thread was about mayweather it would be double the size but now the *******s are speechless. They dont know how to respond and are desperate to try and claim Ariza doesnt know **** when before all of this they loved Ariza.

Just accept Bob Arum wants no part of mayweather and until Pacquiao lays the foot down and refuses to just fight whoever Arum puts in front of him then nothing will change.

What's hilarious is that, like 5 months ago or whatever, Arum was supposedly robbing Pacquiao blind. Yeah, right. Arum brokered contracts that set up Pacquiao to make around $62 million plus in the last YEAR, for Pac's last 3 fights (JMM III; Mosley; Margarito).

If that's someone making you "broke," then I need to get broke right now.

It's sad how easily people can be manipulated. And to be able to be manipulated by a cog in the Pacquiao wheel of Ariza's level is even more sad.

    He's a conditioning coach, folks.

Let me know when Buboy gives his thoughts, or "Pac Team Member #5 with a Meteor Tattoo" shares his take.

Did you mean to say Ariza?

If not, that only leaves him.

Ariza has a nuclear option up his sleeve. Lets see if Arum calls him on it.

Something so damning that it blows the doors off of the Manny Pacquiao/Top Rank money train. Something like having evidence of Pacquiao doing roids, Bob Arum fixing Manny's fights, etc. Some real ****ed up **** that will sink his ass. Ariza is talking like he has something up his sleeve, lets see if Bob believes that or gets him kicked out of Manny's camp.

Why would they care about Ariza vs. Arum? If Arum gets sacked, good. If Ariza, gets sacked, he's a fitness trainer that is easily replacable.
