  2. He's talking about the catchweights, which I don't have a problem with. Manny comes into the ring at his 'walk-around' weight. He's so in shape that he doesn't need to cut a bunch of weight and then rehydrate, he's just 100% in shape on fight night. It's an advantage he has over ANY fighter, because 98% try to gain a size advantage by fighting in a weight class that's too small and end up weakening themselves more than they'll admit.

    Mayweather does the same thing as Manny, and they BOTH (their promoters/trainers) like to play games with the 'agreed weight' in the contract to gain an advantage. They'll never get that advantage over eachother, which is the main reason their teams can't make the fight. Pisses me off.

    This gets overlooked a lot of times in here. A bulk of issues can be understood with this in mind.
