To bad Amir has no say. Him departing with Ariza isn't a wise idea in my opinion.

Don't believe everything Ariza says.

Firstly he says a contract was stolen from his room by Team Khan.

Recently he has said on boxing scene that he found out it was Amir who planned the theft himself.

If he does have a copy of the contract then he should just shut up and enforce it or take legal action,why run your mouth and make stories up every week??

He is just making himself look stupid and is fishing for sympathy,don't forget just coz he is loud that does not mean he is right.

The way I see it since there has been so many problems with Team Khan recently regarding paying opponents everyone has assumed that Team Khan are ''stingy'' and "money grabbers". If we apply this same method then Ariza has recently has problems with every fighter recently does that automatically make him the "bad guy".

My point is one rule should apply to all...

 

Ariza is a bit iffy himself. I can beleave team Khan are a dodgy outfit but Ariza could well be as well. Got Khan to sign something a week out for fight wtf, not the trust you need in your corner, Keeping you finacial dealings in a gym bag in you hotel room wtf, who's the amateur outfit? Ariza has opened up more quetions about himself than anybody else.

 

You have to be an idiot to beleive that claim but I'm sure Gallardo will..

 

Whatever the case, I have to agree with those who say Ariza is far too vocal for a conditioning coach. I've always regarded him as a cool guy, and one who always looks out for the best for his fighters. But the more I read about him and his bust-ups with numerous people, the more I've begun to question his character. I mean his attitude towards someone as respectful as Diaz, is of grade-A ******* quality.

All I'm saying is, Ariza can't have helped himself in his altercation with Team Khan. Judging by his past behaviour, I'm pretty sure he did one or two things to upset people, leading them to drop him.

 

All the financial stuff is a smokescreen. If a guy is important enough to be retained then that crap gets sorted out whatever. However, Khan has done the right thing in disassociating himself in case the **** hits the fan. Unfortuntaely, all fellas have their noggin become larger as they get older with the ravages of time and the old lazy spread setting in. However, you can tell instantly when something unnatural has occurred when it pertains to the 'bulking up' of a super fit athlete in a relatively short period of time - look at their head! This is not just a problem for boxing but for other sports such as both codes of rugby. And when it comes to Pacquaio, he visibly looks a different person even to some of his relatively recent fights. It's not even a question, and it it tarnishes anyone under the same conditioning regime. The likelihood is that nobody in the sport will want such bad publicity and things will just trundle on but at least Khan has made a public move away, and most interestingly with the apparent blessing of Roach.

 

I don't say this very often but Shah and Asif might have been right for sacking him if he approached Khan a week before a fight so sign a new contract. A fighter should be completely 100% focused before a fight and shouldn't have distractions like that. Some people think boxers are stupid and that is why they hire an entourage to look after their personal and financial affairs. The reality is that fighters cannot have any distractions before a fight, they shouldn't be worried about booking hotels, low ticket sales, training facilities etc etc, they have people there to look after that **** for them.

Khan has obviously hired who he thinks is the best for the job at looking after his interests and protecting him. If Ariza did approach him about money that close to a fight then he overstepped the mark and letting him go was probably the lesser of two evils. He's a good strength and conditioning coach but its possible that the negativity he could cause in a camp would outweight whatever good he has brougt to Khan's game.

 

Mate, not just a week before the fight, but during it, and on the night of the weigh-in!

 

Strange that the tearms of service/employment/commitments contract side of things was'nt done & dusted before any training camp was started. Reading between very wide lines I bet there was some real expensive small print in that contract that ariza did'nt want khan's legal team see. It's the oldest trick in the book that Ariza has pulled by getting Khan on his own & saying Oh Amir, just sign here buddy!! In any business before you start work you always check out the fine print of whats expected of you & what you expect in return & that goes from Bridge Builders/Sports stars/Medical profession/plumbers & employing a cleaning company.

Any form of employment be it self employed or employed you always if happy with terms presented sign on the line but not before you've read the small print & then you go to work as they say. I've never known a yank yet go too work on TRUST!!!

He kept this so called contract under wraps until he found an appropriate time too get Amir to sign it & as we know Amir would'nt really know what he was signing as thats why his team went nuts when they found out about it, **** knows what Ariza slipped in that document with regard to % of Khan purse or future purse gaurantee's ect ect without any form of consultation with khans legal team.

I'd like to see Ariza show this copy of the contract in open court but i doubt very much that Ariza would want that & he's proberbly hoping for a secret settlement. He's just playing BLUFF at the moment. If he was rock solid & being a yank he'd have team Khan in court PRONTO!!!
