Alex ariza is doing a GREAT JOB with pacquiao,Khan and all the other guys he is working with IMO. He knows exactly what to do to get the fighter ready for 12 hard rounds, thats his job,and IF you judge him by that, its hard to say something bad about him!! Who cares what he is saying....Take a good look at leonard ellerby in the postfight interview with Floyd and larry merchant after the Ortiz fight...Floyd starts yelling at larry :"you dont know ****" then ellerby from behind:"you dont know ****"..... So its easy to say bad things about people, from what you hear or see..But if you knew them,i think its a hole different story...
Not into indie folk rock which is what she's progressing into now, but yeah she definitely has a great voice.
50/50 on the Ariza opinions really. I knew I couldnt be the only one who thought this guy was king of douchington.
that was a typo i meant to say WOULDNT be where he is without ariza and roach , though like youve said more roach than ariza. i think manny would have had similar results with any conditioning coach but sometimes theres more to knowledge and physical training , obviously you wouldnt mess with the trio of roach , manny and ariza, weather you agree or not it would be foolish at this stage to break up the trio
Well...no one is claiming Alex is a great boxer.....but in his profession he's proven. As PAC and Floyd are proven in their world of boxing...Alex has shown consistency in increasing the level of performance from Top Athletes in boxing as well as other sports. Ariza is accredited in assisting Manny's climb up in weight from 130 to 147 over the last 5 or 6 yrs. Not only is PAC carrying up his speed, power and reflexes but his trade mark stamina is still in tact. Some strength and conditioning coaches are worthless...some have a real "method to their maddness" which comes from a scientific foundation where they infuse athletics together for a complete solution. I think you are discrediting proven effectiveness by incorporating the "right" strength and conditioning coaches in to an Elite's fighters camp...not just Alex...there are a few who are out there that are great at what they do.
Seems to have a very big 'self-important' attitude... And truthfully it's no way of knowing if Manny would be the same with or without him.. What I find hilarious is the same people who say Ariza did all this great work on helping Manny jump through weight classes without issue carrying up almost all of his tools (speed, stamina, power, etc.)... Are the same folks who will tell you Pac can't be on PEDS because dude hasn't done anything out of the norm... WTF?! LOL.. But yeah, dude just seems to want to up his credit/worth a lot.... But maybe it's a reason, maybe he IS that good...
Who the **** ever said what PAC has accomplished in boxing was NOT out of the norm?:huh If it was the norm then EVERYONE would be capable of climbing 6, 7 or 8 weight classes and dominating men larger than themselves. What IS NOT out of the norm is PAC moving through weight classes which a lot of greats do. Floyd, Leonard, Robinson, Armstrong, Pep, RJJ, Sweat Pea....the list goes on and on. What's funny is Manny's detractors love to say "PAC jumped up 8 weight classes and Ariza has these special shakes":deal But in reality NO one questioned PAC's move from 108 to 130....which is more divisions than the move from 135 to 147 which is when the relationship began with Ariza. The only reason there are a few upset Floyd fans who swear up and down that PAC is the PED poster boy is because Floyd says it's true.:rofl Yet there's no story about PED's and PAC before he beat Cotto at Welter weight...which was conveniently Floyd's weight class where he then decided that it would be a great time to question PAC's legitimacy as a clean fighter. Don't get it twisted...PAC has lost some speed and power as he's fighting bigger and more durable opposition. PAC's still faster than most as he's "steadily" moved up in weight since working with Ariza....outside of the DLH fight PAC hasn't really jumped up that much in weight.
I assume you joined after I did.. I've seen it plenty and it was before he got the catch-weight 8th. You seriously haven't seen posters say others don't do it because they'd rather drain themselves to fight smaller guys with size advantages? That's funny because I've been here since you and have never seen any of these Floyd fans claiming Ariza helped Pac jump 8 weight classes as most of them know the Pacquiao timeline.... I have seen comments on the special shakes as Ariza has said before it's a special blend and Pacquiao doesn't even know what Ariza is giving him in them. :thumbsup Could also be when he started beating on better men like that too? Diaz fight happened like it was supposed to... When ODLH came to the ring looking like that everything happened like it was supposed to. The Hatton fight seemed to make Sr start thinking things right? And he had just been beaten by Mayweather and wobbled by Lazcano. Then the Cotto fight happened, that was the 'real step up' in competition, not just weight class. I've never disputed any of that last paragraph.....
Wonder if the rumors about Arum trying to get him fired are going to turn into anything or if they're just like when everyone was saying Koncz would be fired. :think
Strength and conditioning coaches have no business running their mouths ..Regardless of how popular they are !! Since when did a personal trainer become a boxing expert ? I know ,never !!
