Just leting you guys know in the U.S what this kid puts in to boxing and his dedication to the sport. I heard Khan is the hardest trainer at the Wild card gym.

We all know top fighters like Manny and Floyd train like freaks, but this kid can do the same if not harder.

yet in fights you always get the feeling that the longer it goes, the more he is in danger of getting KTFO. I remember against Barrera right before the stopped it I felt Barrera was starting to connect and it was only round 4 or 5. Even against Kotelnik you could just feel that in the late rounds Khan was getting mentally worn out.

but TBH I like Khan and I'm glad he's working on his conditioning cause IMO its one of his weaknesses even though its hard to tell at this stage. By focusing on improving his weaknesses Khan could turn into a very lethal fighter.

Also I believe that conditioning and chin go hand in hand.

    Khan is a heartless vagina.

Absolute chicken****!!! Don't wanna even hearing anything about that coward after as I predicted that he would duck MAIDANA..

What happens? EXACTLY as I predicted. He goes through contracts to FORBID Maidana fighting him. How big of a ***** are you????

You don't wanna fight Maidana cause you want the fight to build??? ok Marquez pulls out and you STILL don't want NO part of Maidana.

*****!!! We all know he is scared to go anywhere near a lethal puncher lake Maidana but he doesn't need to make it this obvious he is ducking him.

    That is all!!!

In the Kotelnik fight Khan was moving around using his feet for the full 12 rounds, he never stopped moving, but still pumped out over 900 punches that is hard also keeping up that handspeed, so he was a bit gased in the last 2 rounds.

Malignaggi's still a decent opponent. Coupled with the fact that it's in his backyard and his new trainer it's not an easy choice by any means. Dumb ****.

Khan needs that kind of conditioning. He frantically wastes movement and energy at a ridiculous rate when he's fighting.

We all seem to forget that Amir Khan isn't an elite fighter. He beat the weakest titleholder in boxing for his belt (Kotelnik) and his first defense was against a boxer that only Eli Seckbech thinks is good (Salita). If he fought Maidana or Bradley he would get knocked out. Amir knows it. Freddie Roach knows it. Oscar De La Hoya knows it.

Amir is only, what, 23 years old? Give him some time to develop. Malignaggi is a nice step up for him and hopefully he'll fight Bradley, Alexander, or Maidana by the end of the year or in 2011 at least.

I've got no problem with the Malignaggi fight. I think it's a great way to move a developing fighter who happens to have the advantage of a belt.

Khan is my 2nd fav fighter at the moment. Incredible talent and exciting to watch, someones gonna get knocked out. lol.

Ariza really sounds like he really knows what he's doing too when it comes to strength and conditioning. He has a modern scientific approach to it as oppose to simple 100yr old methods.

Its weird how noticeable the girls british accent is when in America...never notice it back here. Same when americans come here, its so noticeable but never notice it in TV.

i don't get all the fuss in why amir khan is ducking, he should be ducking some of the fighters in the division, i don't think he is quite on the level of bradley, maidana is a dangerous fight right now, even tho i rekon he could have him
, pauli is a gd fight right now for him, bit of a feather fist, bt it will test his skills

PLUS, he is 22 or 23, so he has plenty of time to develop and shouldn't rush into dangerous fihgts without the experience in fighting in america, think what some of u ****ers would do if u were in khan's shoes! (half of u would quit after the prescot ko)!

    :deal

People only know how to hate, Khan nearly got killed by them bombs yet it only made him train harder and 3 fights later become a world champion at a higher weight.

And for ducking Maidana, Khan has not left Warren to join GBP to duck fighters in the U.S, give the kid 1 or 2 fights so people know who he is in the U.S then he WILL fight the top 140ers.

    LOL - relax...
Why are you screaming and crying like a ***** about a young fighter picking who he fights? Thats always been the case, no?
Didnt Sugar Ray Leanord avoid Aaron Pryor?
Didnt Roy Jones Jr do the same until well after he could be considered "young.
Didnt Calzaghe or how about PBF?
Some of you guys just find reasons to cry about everything...
