@ArizaFitness: @bnally84: vindication, Alex? No, hard to watch that Hack ruin my work. It can't be just a coincidence when Khan just parts ways with Ariza and his so called "improved" chin just happens to give in. What you guys think?
agreed his legs have always been weak, but arriza built khan the right way. arriza also said on his twitter khan has never been down while under him. after all those rounds despite headguard and gloves etc in sparring, i cant belive some who is supposed to be as chinny as khan hasnt been down. as thats the case, arriza seemed to have done khan whole lot of good. khan has always failed when new trainers come in - look at prescott (ko 1), mccloskey (poor performance) and garcia (TKO 4)
according to his twitter he saying he did not leave... but i guess he did leave amirs training camp because jr paid better. amir khan probably need ariza more than he needs them. on his twitter he is soaking this up though and he is leaving it open for them to invite him back. also trashes tabarez for spoiling "his work"
What did Taberes do,that ruined Arizas work? Redonda you say Ariza built up Khans legs,so what hapened once Taberes got hold of Khan? Just interested!
Ariza is full of **** blowing his own trumpet and doesn't know much about boxing. The reason Khan got knocked out was because he took too many clean punches on the button from a big short sharp puncher and his chin will never be great. I don't care if he squats an extra 40lbs, he's still getting knocked out taking too many clean punches If Khan wants to improve he'll hire a defensive coach and work on boxing smart. Watch some Monzon tapes and try to emulate that style, become a master of distance control and clinching.
I said before Khan went with Roach that I thought he should have gone with Manny Steward. Khan's size and ability when fighting from a distance would be mastered under Steward. Also as for his s&c situation he did seem to improve massivley under Ariza and the way he reshaped his body especially his legs, and now he is with Tabares his legs are skinny again and his punch resistance isnt there.
So Taberes has taken weight from the legs and i assume hes put it above khans waist? Is that what your saying? Cos he didnt look to be carrying any extra BF!
funny how Haye has his best performance at heavyweight when Tabares goes over to Khan who has his worst performance at 140 coincidence but funny
and Khan and Chisora get knocked out only 2 rounds apart :think i think theres something going on here
lol, where are all those Khan nuthuggers getting on my case for bashing tabares' credentials, dumb idiots, they swallow any spiel tabares blew out of his mouth. Khan has weak legs, that's part of his problems - but not all of his problem, he can't take a punch - iI remember when I was younger I use to get into trouble, i've been hit flush above the eye, on the chin, in the nose with knuckledusters, and I didn't go down, I didn't even feel my head **** back or anything. I think we should be thankful to Khan for bringing a new fanbase to the sport, who hopefully stay with it post Khan, as the sport needs all the fans it can get. Khan should retire, he's done at that level - does he really want to come back and fight the likes of Lee Purdy et al in the UK and start again? I said it last night before the fight, Khan needed to double and triple the jab and work off of that or he'd get koed.
Disagree. With Chisora's style, and Chisora having personal reasons to beat Haye, David was always going to look like the David of old/the Crusierweight David/the exciting David. Haye looked like the usual Haye when he fought Harrison, so i'm not quite sure what you are getting at? Wladimir is one boring yet super effective guy who ALWAYS looks dull. Khan think's he is the LWW answer to "Iron" Mike, for christ sake! Did you hear him when he was being told to fight smart on Ringside when he was sparring? He was saying that it was "Boring", hence him getting into a tear up!
