i was at the eastern districts in edinburgh and was told that alex arthur is back training with peter harrison over in glasgow. he has been joined there by paul appleby.

i think this is a good move by both boxers peter is a proven professional coach that has trained his son at the highest level.

alex arthur boxed best when he trained with peter in the past and believe that he would have done more with his career if he had stayed with peter instead of changing trainers every couple of fights.

peter will demand a more professional attitude from paul appleby and i believe that we will see the best of paul if he sticks to training with peter.

with alex in the twilight of his career and paul not looking good in his last couple of outings is this a good move for these two?

    what is your opinion

I hear that Terry mcckormack asked them both to leave due to lack of a professional attitude.

i thought that was his reason for leaving peter but i couldn't remember if it was alex or kenny anderson that used the 'sore back' excuse for not travelling to glasgow for training

if that is the case i find it strange they would go to peter harrison. he is big on discipline and would not put up with them not turning up for training.

does this show a big lack of respect towards terry from both?

I'm suprised it took this long for somebody to say this. Arthur has been going nowhere for years and is constantly coming out with excuses. Gomez finished him mentally, in my opinion.

He had a spell as national amateur Coach, and couldnt do both. When that finished could train pros again.

    Is Scott outta jail yet?
