Alex Arthur v Amir khan

You would think Alex would just bang him out but he seems to have trouble puliing the trigger now, could Khan be too fast to let Alex get anything off ?

 

i dont think alex could take those punches. and roach know arthur well.

 

Great fight for Scotland and Arthur. I think he could do with a confidence booster first maybe against Scot Lawton or similar.

Very true, Arthur has a good chin so there is noway he would get blasted early door's, he's also big even at light weight, and is a pretty big puncher so that put's him out of it right away!.

 

Khan will improve further under Roach, his next fight will even more impressive.

 

Khan will keep on improving and untill he gets hit flush on the chin again he will keep racking up the wins ! Alex Arthur would beat Amir at this stage of his career

 

Murray, Thaxton would get knocked out by Prescott also.

 

Unless Roach buys him an Arai he ain't gonna improve that much

Before Saturday night I thought Khan would have lost to Arthur but not anymore. Roach has really tidied up Khan's defence and I think made him go back to basics. Khan looked solid in attack and defence. The only thing he missed was some side to side head movement...Arthur is looking shot and Amir would beat him easily...as long as he doesn't slip back into his old ways.


I would personally like to see Khan go back and face Prescott, if he were to win a rematch the confidence boost that would give him would be huge! :good

 

Thaxton wouldn't put himself in a position where Prescott could KO him.

Some no-mark took Prescott the full ten rounds to an SD not long ago!!!
