Alex Arthur v Nigel Wright

I think this is a strange choice of fight for Arthur, Wright is tricky and Arthur has only done a round of boxing in the last 18 mths, Arthur needs to get him finger out he's 32!

 

Nigel Wright is a good fighter and i could see a upset coming up in this one, far to worried about the lack of action that Alex Arthur has had.

 

I agree Arthur looked like somthing special before the Gomez fight, but has been pretty **** ever since, Wright could cause a upset here.

 

Hes won a British, Commenwealth, European and World titles since the Gomez loss, I dont think you could do all that looking awful since.

 

I dont mean he is **** I just meant compared to how I thought his carear was going to go he has been ****, I thought he was going to be really special but he's not been, also he never won a world title he was given it and then lost it on his first defence against a guy who wasnt worls class and who then went on to lose it in his first defence so I dont really think AA can even be called a former world champ.

 

Arthur is a very good European level fighter who should have had better fights around the world level but at this weight he may really struggle against Wright. Great fight though.

i think Arthur should just retire his career has barely ever got off 1st gear with all his inactivity recently and it had cost him

 

He blames his inactivity on a blood disorder that he says has been cured now, but he seems better now & is enjoying his training again judging by these pics
