Please vote on the poll and then vote on why you think they will win.

I think AA will win by UD which will be wide on the cards but that will be dubious. Arthur still winning though.

Think Foster is stepping up a weight to face Arthur.

Since Foster lost to Derry Matthews last year he has fought two guys with something like 60 losses between them so this is a big step up in class.

Anyway advantage Arthur - expect him to win comfortably.

Do they show Alex Arther's fights on telly any more? I seem to have lost all recollection of him fighting since he got beat by Gomez.
I must admit I had to go to Boxrec to remind myself exactly who he's been fighting since then, and was surprised how long ago the Gomez loss was.
So, is he any good these days? Is he still "Amazing" or have they dropped that slightly iffy moniker? I know he's a champ (of sorts), but why do we never hear about him?

Yeah hes been on ITV and ITV4 last couple fights , he is actaully a better fighter since the gomez loss but that said his last few fights he's been heading down the Scott Harrison route of just trying to march through opponents. wee bit of a worry !

Doesn't really get a great deal of coverage Alex, which is a bit unfair. Can't really put my finger on why, but it may slightly be because of being based in Edinburgh. Truth be told, there really isn't a massive swell of support for boxing here. A shame really, but Edinburgh has always been labled a bit of a 'rugby city' more than anything else. A bit crap, cause I couldn't care about rugby!

But yes, AA is still 'amazing', and has been going about his business since the Gomez fight. A better fighter than back then, but not progressing at a good enough pace. Sadly a bit in limbo between the European and World stage...needs to step it up before the chance is gone!

Ohh, and I would predict Arthur to win this one by either a late stoppage or wide UD. Think it was set up more to be something to keep him ticking over until the Guzman situation is resolved one way or another.

I think I'm all alone in thinking Foster will win this fight......

Foster's training camp has gone very well & has sparred Stephen Bell , Willie Limmond and John Murray.

    Come on Stevie Foster!!!

Alex Arthur wide margin UD, although would not surprise me if he stopped Foster late on. However, i'll admit I dont know too much about Steve Jnr.

I'll be there at the Meadowbank, anyone else going on the boards?
