Haven't seen Dimitrenko, but Hoffman is a pretty average come-forward plodder. Nothing special there. He's the sort of fighter young prospects should beat handily.
Yeah, Dimitrenko is the #2 ranked WBO HW. Kohl promotes both Dimitrenko and Krasniqi, so he had a 100 % chance of getting a title shot, but he told the WBO to skip Dimitrenko. Dimitrenko's idiot promoter didnt think he was ready to fight against Krasiqi, even for a mandatory title shot. Thompson stepped in and beat Quitniqi, now Kohl doesnt have a title shot at all!
timo hoffman?? he is the guy who took vitaly 12 rounds and gave him a pair of black eyes. he also held luan krasniqui to a draw. and one other thing: LOL cause you didnt know that
It´s really annoying how little you guys know of good european fighters. Almost like having a good record and skills means nothing if you´re not from US or at least a gigantic Russian.
He also knocked down Zuri Lawrence and taught him a lesson in boxing. Someone like Calvin Brook was praised for his ko victory over aforementioned Lawrence whereas Hoffman didnt get any respect when he beat the same fighter. The huge German is no pushover.Thats for sure.He has shared the ring with quite a handful of known names. As you rightly pointed out he was the only boxer who has been able to go the full route with Vitaly Klitschko. Well,on the other hand we have to admit that Hoffman is tailor made for Dimitrenko.Hoffman has a very good chin, but his firepower isnt that impressive at all.He is slow and predictable, and his jab is no match for Dimitrenko's one. Young heavyweight prospect Dimitrenko should be able to win a wide point decision against Hoffman IMO.
LOL, I guess noone has seen the last Hoffmann fight where he was manhandled by Timur Ibragimov in Germany. He had no shot. Hoffmann is a below average puncher, has an average chin, very bad footwork. Then again he is by far the best fighter Dimitrenko has faced, his first Top 50 opponent and he's very game.
Unfortunately, for a lot of Americans(including many on this board) the world ends outside of the U.S boundaries, as I have witnessed living in the U.S for almost 9 years.
