he has the power. he has the class. he has the trainer, promoter, and family support. he is getting the experience.....how much more does he need to fight for a world title?

should he fight for one early, and lose nothing if unsuccessful, and try again later on?

or should he wait longer and fight hand picked opponents till he is deemed at the top of his game and give it all or nothing?

alex is capable of winning a world title. but how best WOULD YOU steer him to have the belt round his waist?

Plenty of work to do yet, but he's definitely on the right path. He should just step up progressively.

Alex showed last night a lot of maturity he took his time and did what he needed to do to finish the very tough Col .Sally your post is true if Alex trains hard he could do anything he has that power that you need in the heavys look at Kali no1 in the WBA .

While he is certainly improving, I think there's too many holes in his game for him to reach the top. He might land a big fight or two, but I don't think he'll handle the names of the division. His defence is a little suspect which is always a bad thing at heavyweight unless you have the recuperative powers of the best of them (which Alex doesn't) and he's way too inconsistant to be able to bring the game he'll need to succeed at the top. I wish the guy all the best and I hope he proves me wrong as I'd love to have an Aussie as the Heavyweight champion.

I have to agree mate. I'd love to see Leapai be a world champ but I have my doubts. I'd love to see him prove me wrong though as I think he is an exciting guy to watch.

    just breading afew stories
i think alex would struggle with an experienced kirby, and ithink that hoppas power could turn any fighter in this country around if he tags you i hear he did a good job on wilson and now youse are saying world tittle shot does that mean that mirrovic who stopped wilson last year and 5 times b4 that deserves a shot again .
question? can lepai beat kalli can he beata fit hommono /swinging hoppa an experienced kirby a if you are qurious about some of these opponents .
then what chance he got against klitchco the other 12 foot giant a haye even tua or cammeron .
he has plenty of ability and plenty of time thats exactly what he needs time

I'd like Leapai to come in a bit fitter, just seems to be carry a little bit of condition to be a top/elite heavy.

A fight against Kali Meehan wld tell us where his at.

I'm with Ippy, plenty more work to be done but definately going the right way. The question should be how many more fights does alex have,& who, so he improves before he fights the calibre of Meehan or Cameron, let alone world title.
