Wishing Alex all the best this Saturday, Alex & Noel knows how close they are to a shot @ the World title & told us (family) "Denis has to take my heart out to beat me"...this is what makes him soo dangerous & his preparation has been unbelievable....everyone says it's a walk in a park for Denis, well Denis hasn't met anyone like the LIONHEART. Safe flight Alex, Noel & team & I know he's gana represent our flag with pride, all the best & go LIONHEART.:good God Bless.
people give him **** for lack of boxing skills, but its a matter of winning or losing. u don't get paid a bonus for showing finesse. besides people want to see heavies bash each other. and no fighter has a bigger pair of nuts than alex. willing to fight anybody.
my concern has never been alex boxing skills , lets face it very few heavyweights show silky smooth boxing skills . my concern has always been his conditioning he blows out way too quick . a couple of times i have watched him and he is gased by the 3rd round . i think if he can get himself in shape to go even a hard 8 rounds he will be bloody dangerous because the man can bang thats for sure . all the best to him hes having a crack and aint just talking about facing decent opponents he is actually going and doing it .
its not his fitness. its the fact he has zero defence. he uses his head to stop punches, lol. he slows down when he hasn't ko'd his opponent by round 3/4 cause he's eaten too many shots. if he tried to avoid getting hit, he would not be so stuffed early.
Great to see Alex step up and take his next challenge on the chin, all the best for a strong fight GB.
Boystov has always reminded me of a slightly better version of mark Demori, both been pro's for quite a while, fought a long list of no names (Boystov's slightly better names), both pretty boys , that's it really, I spose Boystov actually has balls and his management does something for him. But 33 fights and underfeated with a 78% Ko rate ! and no fights out of Germany Hmmm, not this **** again...
Boytsov despite his on/off career though does have a lot of ability, there aren't many that would say otherwise who have seen him fight.
Boystov has had bad luck with injuries... Remember he was set to face Tyson Fury last year. All things considered Leapai is a very good opponent for Boystov, not many contenders want to face Leapai as he's high risk/low reward. you would never see Wilder in there with someone like Leapai!
There has been no red flag on Boytsov's punch resistance over the years (just his dedication and management/external factors beyond his control) so I don't know that Leapai even has a real puncher's chance here. Boytsov will probably TKO him after scoring a few knockdowns or getting him in trouble on the ropes and forcing it to be waved off while standing.
I think leapai is always a punchers chance, but i think he has to land something significant in the first couple of rounds, goodluck to alex looks like enjoys testing himself
22nd Ranked Boytsov is light years ahead of De Mori n ability. 33-0-0 in the pros 115-15 in the ams. Technically one of the best heavyweights going around. Heavy hands, good defence and great footwork. Still a question mark over his ability to mix it in top company. Definitely has to step it up in 2014. IMO he would take DeMori to school.
I agree, but after 30 odd fights , its only in his last few fights he has just started to test him self, which some1 for his supposed talent leaves a big question mark and he hasn't exactly fought world beaters in his first 30 fights
