    Ah my mistake.

I'm sure the commentators mentioned he was from NZ from same part as Tua and then moved to Australia as a child?

I am a Wlad fan and I want to see him fight somebody like Pulev, Fury or Perez before he fights Leapai. Come on man, you can't say that Leapai is fit to step with with Wlad. he would get battered... Jab, 1-2 would be landed at will, might look worse than the Mormeck and Pianeta fights. Leapai would get slaughtered.

    Agreed.

BROWNE vs LEAPAI is the fight that needs to happen now for the Mandatory WBA position.

It would be worse.. Safety Pin KO'd Leapai.. I thought Boystov had more to offer, I was wrong. Let's get Pulev, Fury, and a Perez or Jennings next yr. Though I could maybe see Adamek sneaking his way into a fight before Perez or Jennings.

Sad... Universum ****ed him, but Denis had the opportunity to show he still wanted it..shame, I guessed when I saw the size he came in at..but still.

Utterly surprised by Sukhotski - Gutnecht tho... let's see Hernandez - Aleksaev now. Can't talk much now tho Froch -Groves ringwalks starting...

He definitely HAD something to offer, but he missed his window and let himself go. Doesn't matter, he's finished now and it would take a miracle to get him back on track.

I only started watching from round 7, but Boytsov looked completely gassed for those last 3 rounds, lots of holding from Boytsov, Leappai knocked him down a few times.

boytsov lost but he put leapai down in the 10th and the ref called a slip....that was a knockdown.....no body punching by boytsov at all...just head hunting

I had Boystov just nicking it... Boystov looked horrible though, and it's hard to argue with the judges verdict. fight was a nightmare to score.

Denis is a MUCH better fighter than the slow, plodding, fighter we saw tonight.

He was 10lbs overweight in all the wrong places, and showed he had done nothing in the way of stamina prep for this fight.

Leapai is a Blevel fighter, the first Denis has fought since Bydenko once upon a time. He took that fight seriously, and he earned a nice win. He took Leapai lightly, as if his natural talent would get Leapai outta there. Didnt happen, and it never would happen.
A 75% Denis Boystov doesnt beat David Price, much less a sturdy powerhouse like Leapai.:deal
