I am okay with these type of match ups. Both Charr and Leapai are gate keeper types. Beat either and you can advance to the top ten. Now they meet each other. The winner can have a shot vs a top ten guy, or maybe Wilder.
He who comes more motivated would win. Both are defensively poor. In terms of offence I'll give it to Alex Leapai. I think the same version who outclassed Denis Boytsov can defeat Manuel Charr as well, since I like Leapai's offence better. However, I won't be surprise if it goes either way.

Good fight. Charr should be good enough to beat the limited Leapai, Charr by decision or late stoppage.
I never understood people admiring boxers for this kind of things. Charr is not a champion and is not close to being a champion. He's fighting who he is said to fight and doesn't have any rights to select his opponents. Perhaps Travis Walker has one of the best opposition in the division, let's all admire him?
