    Embarrassing stuff from Leapai today.

The Klitschkos have made long, successful careers out of embarrassing people and Leapai is unlikely to be the last.

he was more than fit enough. its just extremely difficult to get past the jab. the rest of the guys have failed to beat wlad for 10 years for that very reason.

if someone as quick and agile as david haye had huge problems getting close then its hardly a surprise that alex found it difficult really.

Leapai was just outmatched. Embarrasing was Paul briggs against Green

Klitch has such good straight punches, accurate, hard and relentless

As I stated in one of the forums; “Alex might do well, if he stands on a milk crate with cricket bat”

Yep, that combination of that hard, straight, ultra fast 1-2, awesome footwork and holding whenever an opponent gets in close is near impossible for any of today's heavyweights to solve. Simple, boring but incredibly effective. In the next 5 years I can't see Wlad losing unless we get an exceptional heavyweight fighter burst on the scene.

If Leapai was half as fit as he should have been he would have at some stage launched an aggressive assault on Klitschko. He was plodding with no head movement, yeah he would have still lost, but no look so bad in doing so. I think at 240 pounds he would have been more effective.

No doubt public holiday in Samoan village Laulii (Alex's place of birth) on 26th April each year is now history.
IMO, pre fight publicity was very good, but at times way overdone

If u watch each knockdown, he was breathing heavily each time, didn't see Wlad land a single body shot.

It was'nt excess weight , it was'nt unfit , it boiled down to a number of things , Alex went in and done his best , but he simply was no where near good enough , he can't move his head because he does'nt know how too , he could'nt match Wlad for foot work , because he does'nt know how too .

Alex never was in the same leugue , his one and only chance was , a lucky punch , he was carried for 5 rnds just to make it look competetive , Can you blame Alex can you fack , his management done a good job and steered him into a money fight , i hope they got well paid ,

The blame for this mis match was and is with Klitschko , simply because he is padding his own record ,, this was never, ever going to be a competetive fight, Big Daddy would stand a better chance , but i doubt he would do any better , Alex should challenge big Daddy for his commonwealth title and get one more biggish payday , then retire .

The only ones who done a good job here was Alex's management for securing Alex with a good payday , and national hero status in Samoa

Alex Leapai was Wlad Klitschko's mandatory opponent. He didn't choose Leapai. The WBO did.

Well it just wasn't to be. Leapai would have willingly died in there I'm sure. But will alone won't keep you on your feet when your brain has been battered in a one side bout like we saw yesterday.

Leapai can probably still get a few more well paid fights.
